Virtual screening

Silicos' proprietary Spectrophore™ technology allows for a rapid and accurate screening of large molecular databases against small molecule ligands with the desired properties or activities, or against known protein structures that have been determined experimentally or using homology modeling calculations.
If appropriate for the quality of the results, alternative virtual screening technologies can be applied as well, including, for example, pharmacophore searches, substructure searches, and low-throughput docking techniques.

Currently, Silicos has access to an in-house Spectrophore™ database for virtual screening containing more than 8 million commercially available compounds. The availability of this database allows Silicos to offer its customers high quality virtual screening services based on its Spectrophore™ technology and other virtual screening technologies.
